An island for Nomadics, Bakkhali

Hi guys,
Sometimes you feel like wanna escape and nobody would be chasing you especially your past and the fear for the coming future. Really no plans, no itinerary but before one day decided to go to the land of Mangroves.

It was before the second Saturday, a holiday in government offices. I work in a PSU, posted at Kalyani, nearly 60 km from Kolkata, India. I reached Namkhana via local from Sealdah at 12:15 am. Actually, I was planning to stay the night at Bakkhali but the crime stories of the old man in the local really scared me. But it would be safer to rely on it. With an empty stomach, I desperately needed something to eat and rice dal and some veg gravy and also some chappatis. Really the quote
" Success is countest sweetest by those who never succeed" by Emily Dickinson
was an appropriate for my situation. I had no option and the kid there insisted me to stay in the hut, it was little uneasy, yeah that was like a blessing in disguise. There was much crowd as there was the Purnima Gangasagar Festival and devotees from all over India came to cherish it. The kid was overwhelmed as we totally enjoyed our little chats and also the ludo, so was the family. It felt like these small moments of joy, a small smiling inquisitive mind eagerly chatting let you forget all the bad turnouts of your life.

At morning nearly 5:30 am, I talked with another guy and left early without waking others up.
To the Jumbo Island
I went towards  Ghat where I had to cross the river to get to Bakkhali Bus stand. I have to board the bus to Fazurganj. On reaching there, I came to know that single travellers are not allowed. Then, I had to take permission from the local P.S. and came to know that this place was a Suicidal point and the local administration had made out this rule. A sub-inspector on knowing me as an officer helped me with hotel facilities. The hotel was good Chutti. Then I got refreshed and booked a Toto, the small battery vehicle for Fazurganj, Henry and Jumbo Island, what we all call it local sightseeing. At Jumbo Island, there were four of us. the other three were not sure about the amount to be paid and I paid the rest of the amount. we all joined for the boat trip. The compass helped us in direction. About 1 and1/2 hour we stayed in the midst of the sea, the Bay of Bengal got a lot of shiner Silver by the reflection rays from the Sun. The breeze was even lot chiller in the winter.
But one thing lacked if you ever been to a place like this, you need to extra cash because of I ran out of money and only two ATMs were there which actually didn't work, so I have to swipe my card at some local shop and take a handful amount of cash. The very next morning, I returned with some memories, adventures and made some new friends. It was awesome and amazing moments, the locals were good and ahhah forgot to mention that I went for a bike ride all by myself but was not rented but a different Tripping.
