On the afternoon time my friend Vineet called about the trip. I was in office doing my day to day office work. The search began also with some tints of excitation. He was really excited about the bike ride and said about the place named Sishupal, Saraipali which was around 70 to 80 km from Bargarh. Also he said about confirming me about the Ride and if yes then an early morning ride should be there.
There was no off road riding as done before going to Debrigarh wildlife Sanctuary. But a straight road upto Saraipali chowk. So as usual we started on the morning at around 6 30 pm. By riding we reached Sohela around 7 25 am. As my friend felt something was wrong with his bike and he need to check his tyre. The location was 4 kms from lohurachati. Then we reached Saraipali chowk exactly around 8 am.
We took a left turn after passing the Chhattisgarh Border after some distance. By asking some locals about the hill we took the turn and then rode our way into the village. So there was not much to see but you need to take some fruits along with you like apples, banana etc.
The after taking some photos we rode along and reached the parking lot around 8 45 am. After then we started our trekking to uphill. On the way I met my graduation friend Subrajit Jena, we chatted for a while and then we moved. They brought all the eatables along with them like chicken and utensils to cook. Yeah it’s a good idea but there are also some wild animals so you need to aware of the risks which you are taking, apart from that nothing needs to be worried.
My friend Vineet is really a photo crazy person; within the same spot he will take uncountable number of photos. In that hard afternoon the Sun rays can’t push him to the shades as he will be busy taking photos. So, after some photos of me and his we decided to return from the hill, there is also a Shiva Temple which you all may pay a visit.
So, after descending from the hill slowly we met some travelers talking about some Wild Bear. Then we got cautious and I made a stick out of the hanging roots of the trees. So my friend asked the small children to shout and walk so scare the bear away. After coming to the nearby small shops we ate some biscuits and samosha and heard that there was a small dam nearby. We felt restless and then we went to the Parking lot where we met Mr. Shankar who introduced about the Hill, Mandir and some issues around the place. After that we returned through the same route and I reached my home around 12 30 pm.
Regards,
Sudhir
